I just wanted to let you know we have met our fundraising goal of $1500 for our adoption!  This means we will receive the full match from Life Song for a total of $3000.  We just found out yesterday and are really pleased/relieved.  Thank you so much for praying for us, being our friends, and encouraging us.

Please keep praying.  There is one more beuraucratic road block.  We are still waiting on our criminal background checks to come back.  We filled these out at the beginning of December during the pre-application process. Buckner was confident enough in our character to move forward with the final adopion applications, but they cannot officially approve us until that comes back.

The good news is we are in fact upstanding citizens.  The bad news is we’re waiting on state-level governments in PA, MN, and TX (the places we’ve lived over the past 10 years).  We still have a tentative transition period scheduled for Feb.17 – 29 with the placement falling on March 1.  None of that can happen until our bkg. checks come in.  Please pray that God would help us.  Also if any governement officals owe you any favors, you might consider calling one in.
