About a week ago I was tagged by Shawnda, a dear friend and old roommate, who has seen my junk and still is a friend. Thanks for tagging me, friend…it made me feel special, I’m honored.

So, I thought I’d just answer questions but when I realized that I had to come up w/ these facts/habits, it freaked me out and I’ve been spending the week trying to think of stuff to share and 8 others to tag too. Well, I broke the rules and just tagged 5 people.

Here are the rules…
Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. I am a pre-processor. This means that when making a huge decision, I’m thinking of every possible situation that could happen, good or bad. Really, thinking about stuff takes me a bit of time to think about everything and every angle. Just to come up w/ some facts about myself it took about a week.
2. I have been known to liken fresh fruit to candy.
3. Favorite coffee, hands down, Antigua. Any brand. Target, Starbucks, Gorilla.
4. I am a foreigner in my own land. Seriously. I’m not the “typical” Dallas woman. It’s a stretching and sanctifying experience. It’s been a tough year and a half, however, I believe we are here for a long time and even weirder; I’m ok with that.
5. My dream house would be a cozy yet organized (i’m rarely organized) home with room for a young single to live w/ us, foster children and other Donovan’s. We’d call it Donovanhouse. There would be wood floors, lots of windows and some stained glass sprinkled through out.
6. A fire has been lit in me for foster children and a calling found in fostering. I am green in this subject, very green, but love talking about it and telling people about serving or helping out doesn’t necessarily mean being a foster parent.
7. Going from one child to two children was extremely hard for me.
8. I play along w/ Jaimes when she is telling me what her invisible friends, Bubba and Jo-lanna are getting in to. Scolding, calling them, scooping them up, all in public.
