Last night I dreamed I was visiting my uncle. In the dream I was feeling really self conscious because my hair was too shaggy and my neck needed to be shaved. I decided to go into the bathroom and buzz my head with the clippers that I was holding. It seemed as though I’d been holding them all along.
As I stood in front of the mirror, I wasn’t sure how to approach the task at hand. I was particularly worried about how I would buzz the back of my head evenly. I was also growing uncomfortable with the vision I had of how this would all turn out.
Joshua Blankenship kindly offered to cut my hair for me. It seemed as though he’d been there all along. I was grateful and handed him the clippers. When he was finished, I had a mullet that looked a lot like this. Part of me was disappointed and part of me thought it suited me.
I have no idea what this means. Interpretations are welcome in the comments.
i think it means that your life is too cluttered or overwhelming. you need to simplify and purge.
(i also think it means you’re a complete nut, but that’s for another day.)

@danielle – that’s a frighteningly accurate description of my life at the moment. I would like you to come live in my palace and take charge of all that I rule.

Can you dream me a haircut too? My dream haircuts never look quite THAT good.
I do agree with Danielle though, it’s probably about simplifying the things in your life, about taking more control.
