: ) Samuel saw the 2nd pic, and said “what’s he doing there? It looks like he’s mad” ; ) I assured him you were just being silly….like daddy, and he felt much better about the situation : )
I meant to tell you these are really cool. I of course prefer the first to the second. Did you do a tripod, and then just shake your head in that one? Also, how many did you take that you didn’t show us?
@shawnda – I’m glad Samuel was not traumatized.
@rachel – I set a tripod on my sink and took the photos with a remote control. This one was originally just out of focus. I selected just myself (which is very easy thanks to the handy selection tool in PS CS3) and added some motion blur via Filter > Blur > Motion Blur. Then I smudged myself around the edges to blend where the selection tool missed. It only took about three minutes, but the smudge tool tickled a great deal. If you look closely along the edge of my hair, you can see how careless I was.
I took about 30 pictures total and posted 8 of them on flickr.
