I have two new sites/projects to share with you. I recently had the pleasure of taking some wedding photos for Brian+Anna in Billings, MT. Beautiful country up there. I also just (pretty much) finished The Faith Connection site. I’m very pleased with it.

gorilla coffee
Fewer and fewer of my friends are working for Starbucks these days. Which means less and less free coffee for we Donovans. As long as we’re paying for it, we thought we’d play the field a bit – try some new beans.
Gorilla Coffee was our first pass – and a strong one at that. They’re out of Brooklyn, so you have to order on line, but their website is
awesome and makes purchasing a breeze. They personally confirmed my order within minutes of purchasing through paypal. MY beans arrived two days later.
Unlike Starbucks, the brewing instruction on the side of the package are dead on. The beans smell amazing, and the packaging ain’t tooo shabby either. DonovanHouse strongly recommends this product.
Desktopography

Desktopography is an effort to put nature in front of the faces of those of us chained to our monitors most of that day. They are gorgeous. They are free. Enjoy.
The Street on Flickr
The Street (in progress) is a set on flickr by “All the names are already taken pfff.” Classic. Dark. Haunting. Profound.
The Busy Life
I’ve been a fan of absenter for a while. As of late, it’s been painfully innactive. Looks like ol’ Naz has something new in the works though. The Busy Life looks promising.
Hotel Belmont

I surprised Kristin with an overnight date at the Hotel Belmont in Southwest Dallas. It’s not perfect, but that’s kind of why it’s perfect. Eclectic, quiet, and the cocktail lounge is comfy if not colorful.
The “funny valentine” special includes champagne, chocolates, and candles awaiting your arrival, free valet parking, and a continental breakfast (the gronala + yogurt is killer). Pricetag=$200. Ok – swallow hard and pull the trigger. It’s worth every penny.
new photos on wedding set
I was priveledged to shoot Danielle’s wedding in December. With her photos finally in the mail, I felt it was an ok time to post a few to my weddings set on flickr. Don’t worry – she’s seen them all already.
