Purchase Synthroid

Purchase synthroid, looking into the next one for Gracie.  Jaimes will probably need another one in a bit.  Why do these things need to be so confusing?  And expensive.  I'd love to hear what you use and if you like it. Cheap generic zithromax. Order lorazepam bars. Viagra online.

I feel I need to share this. Emma was old enough, heavy enough, and tall enough for a booster seat. Meaning a little seat that “boosts” her up so that the vehicle seat buckle is at an appropriate position. So, we got one. I felt, from day one that she was so exposed in it, so vulnerable. Maybe a weird mom thing. Then I got a video emailed to me about a little boy the same age as Emma in the same kind of seat that was in an accident. The impact caused his seat belt to release. He was thrown from the vehicle and did not survive. His younger sister was in her toddler/5-point harness carseat and walked away unharmed. SO, I recommend a 5-point harness no matter the weight, height or age(age within reason of course:)). They have them for weight up to 100lbs.
    Just my 2-cents.

    Love,
    Keri

Thanks so much for mentioning this Keri! I have seen the video on YouTube also I think…kyledavidmiller.com. There are quite a few youtube.com videos about little ones that died in booster seats. It’s so sad! We are definitely going to keep both girls in a 5-point harness carseat but in researching which one to buy I am getting so frustrated! These things have all different weight/height/car/LATCH restrictions. Also, I’m trying to decide (or forsee) how long they’ll be in a 5-pt. 40lbs, 60lbs? I can’t imagine that we could get them in one at 100lbs…I think I was in Jr High around that weight. I just want to make sure that we use money wisely. We will be on carseat number 3 for Jaimes once she hits 40lbs. Britax.com was no help either. Major usability issues. Can you tell I’m married to a web guy? I’m sure this will make Matt smile.

    Kristin,

I’m probably no help at all… but we sprung for the Britax marathon because Ian can use it until he doesn’t need a car seat anymore… (and could use it from 6 months old…or younger…when he grew out of the infant seat)

The are ridiculously expensive, but they are awesome. The ratings from both consumers AND the NTSB, etc. are undeniable.

Anyway, we recognize that not everyone can have a Britax, but we sure think they should try to!!

My sister has the evenflo one that is about $100… they liked it, but the straps didn’t seem to loosen enough to allow their 3 1/2 year old son, who is very tall, to sit comfortably in it for as long as they wanted him to.

Ian used that evenflo one from about 4-6 months old while we budgeted for the Britax.

I have a Britax Roundabout in my car and find it excellent as well!

Susan – Your comment was very helpful! You are right, the seats are very expensive BUT by the time we’ve spent money on two other seats already and we’d really like to keep the girls in 5-pt harnesses for as long as possible. We may end up spending more in the long run than what we would have on just one Britax seat for Jaimes. So you like your Marathon?

Jaimes has an Evenflo that we like but the straps have been getting twisted and I have vowed to not ever feed little ones raisins in the car AGAIN! Gross! It’s served us well for 3 years but I think she’ll outgrow the seat soon.

    Hey K,

I am just now in the same dilemma – trying to find a carseat for Luke so Cade can switch. Anyways, I totally feel the same way about the 5 point harness thing – and so far I am finding their are only two 5 point harness carseats that go up to 80+ lbs. (Britax Regent and Radian 80)… The Britax Marathon is a good option to, but it will only go to 65 lbs and 49 inches tall – still gives us a while. Let me know if you want more info. I have researched this a lot! And yes, they are very expensive!

  6. Kristin

Yes, yes, yes…I definitely want more info!! I’ll check into the Regent and Radian. We went to BabiesRus today (but just for a short little visit) and looked at the Marathon.

  7. Kristin

So far I am loving what I’m reading about the Radian 80. We’ll see.

I have never even heard of the Regent or Radian. I’m MIFFED now! It seems that the biggest Britax available to us (without having to pay shipping from ordering online) is the marathon.

I really do love the Britax seats. They are SOOOO easy to install. Ian is very comfortable in them, the straps are really easy to adjust, they are just plain great!

Ian cried in his infant carrier from 3 weeks until we finally broke down and put him in a convertible seat (about 4 months) and then he cried in the evenflo until we got the britax (about 6 months old) HE HASN’T CRIED SINCE!

We should seriously be paid by Britax for all of our advertising we do for them!

The best thing? I can install a britax seat all by myself. Roger doesn’t have to “tighten it” due to the way britax has designed their latch system. It is GREAT!!

Good Luck! I’m going to have too look into the Regent/Radian.

I like the Graco comfort sport (affordable and one of the top in safety!).
