They are amazing. It was a treat to see, so thanks for sharing. The pictures reminded me of my uncles boat. He is the last commercial fisherman on nantucket island. He used to tell stories about ice forming on his boat and getting so thick and heavy that it would threaten to capsize them. They would have to stand in the rain and waves that would crash over the entire boat and hack away at the ice with picks and hatchets, to keep from sinking. The photos showed small glimpses of what the ice can be like. Whew. That was time well spent.
