I got a new job. I’ve been meaning to let you know. Friday, June 29th was my last day at LevelTen. I started working for Geniant on Monday, July 2nd.

Why the move? Mostly, I just couldn’t pass up such a fantastic opportunity. I’m really enjoying the work here. Very busy already. Not the “OMG – this is an emergency hurry up and finish no matter how slapped together it is” kind of busy, but the “We hired you to fill this specific role because we really need you” kind of busy. That’s usually a good place be.

And the third company? Well, on Monday we all learned Geniant was acquired by EMC. I was made fully aware of this possibility before I was hired and the vibe around here is very positive in light of the acquisition. Shouldn’t affect things too much – at least for now. Guess we’ll see how it goes!
